Has anyone ever been speed dating? What's it like and what did you think? A friend of mine and I are planning to go some time and I feel pretty nervous and embarrassed about it.

My friend runs them locally..she says the people who have a good time..and dont take it too seriously are the ones who enjoy themselves most.
Some guys will be there just for a laugh...and so will some girls...but essentially everyone is hoping for the same thing...to meetspeed dating someone they click with....remember to ask questions that require more than a yes or no answer...ask open questions like, "Which countries have you travelled to and which would you like to travel to?"

I have done speed dating, you do not get to know the person and enjoy person as much as you will as a regular dating.
This is not the wise way to go even, if you have more sex partners, it will not mean as much if you really love the preson for the time being.
