new areWhat are the differences between an 80gb PS3 and a new slim 320gb?

Besides the obvious differences of touch buttons to actual physical buttons, size of hard drive, and backwards compatibility, what are the differences?
I had an 80gb original playstation for about four years and after reviving it twice, I am replacing it for Christmas. What are the benefits of this new playstation? Anything at all? I use the playstation mostly for gaming call of duty and madden but also for netflix too.
The older version has less memory. So what that means if you buy alot of games and save data it wont save as much as the slim. The Older PS3 waste/take up more energy than the Slim,. The older one has a touch button so eject is touch and power is in the back like the old PS2. The slim has physical buttons and remains new areon stanby unless plugged out. It has no switch in the back. The slim has 2 USB ports while the Older has 4. The Slim has a better cooling system and wont heat up like the 80gb
The Playstation 3 is perfect. This will be my second one because I need one for the bedroom. I have a phat ps3 and now a new slim. The slim is much smaller and stealthy quiet. So far I like it more and it stays cleaner looking than the phat but i do miss the touch sensitive buttons. I've owned a ps3 for 4 years with no problems and i love it. great blu ray, best games, surround sound, full hd, and the free psn. Nothing compairs
The slims consume a bit less power and use a different power cable that's actually the same one the PS2 and PS1 use (fat models, the slim PS2/PSOnenew are use different ones). They also can be controlled via the remote on certain TVs when connected via HDMI. It's that Bravia Sync thing you may have heard of if you own a Sony Bravia TV. Otherwise there's no functional difference outside of what you mentioned earlier. Actually they also lack card readers (for memory sticks and such), a feature you more than likely never used if you're like most PS3 users, but you can still use USB flash drives.
The slim takes up less power and is smaller, but that's about it. When you get the slim, save your game files to a flash drive, upload them to the slim, and sell your old 80gb. You should be able to get at least $100 due to the backwards compatibility.
